The Marketing Coordinator and committee members are responsible for:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote OFRE’s mission, events, and initiatives.
• Create and manage engaging content for newsletters, social media, and the OFRE website.
• Design promotional materials, such as flyers, social posts, and event announcements.
• Plan, schedule, and post content on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and X.
• Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments, and build an online community.
• Collaborate with the Events Committee to promote workshops, gleans, and cider pressings.
• Foster partnerships with like-minded organizations and influencers to amplify OFRE’s mission.
• Track and analyze the success of marketing campaigns and report findings to the committee chair.
• Work with other committees, such as Fundraising and Grants, to align messaging and promotional efforts.
• Assist with volunteer recruitment and retention campaigns, showcasing the impact of OFRE’s work.

The Marketing Committee is dedicated to showcasing OFRE’s mission to reduce food waste, build food security, and educate the community. By crafting and implementing effective strategies, this committee ensures that our message reaches the right audiences, inspiring support from volunteers, collaborators, and donors alike.

Working closely with the committee chair, this team of up to four volunteers contributes to promoting events, workshops, and initiatives while fostering partnerships with like-minded organizations.
