Wow, what a wonderful night for the first outdoor PKN and what a beautiful destination to do it in at Hawrelak Park amphitheatre!
PKN, stands for Petcha Kucha and means chit chat in Japanese. It’s a quick style presentation format where each presenter has 20 images and gets to speak for 20 seconds per image. PKN is hosted by Edmonton’s NextGen community and June has been declared NextGen month!
At PKN 13 Mike Johnson and Amy Beaith presented a topic called: Can local food build community? They used OFRE as an example of an organization that is trying to do just that.
