The Apple Cider Celebration runs on the people who show up: washing apples, hauling pomace, turning the press. Sign up below and join us on a pressing day this fall.
Here's what we're asking for

Fill out the form below to get on our volunteer list. Before the event, we'll invite you to at least one virtual meeting, short and to the point, so you know your role and where to go on pressing day.
Give us two hours, or the whole afternoon
Pressing days run from 11am to 4pm. We'd love to have you the whole time, but two hours or more works too, whatever your schedule allows. Every set of hands moves the day forward.
Where you'll fit in
We need apple washers and cutters at the wash stations, wheelbarrow operators to haul pomace to the compost pit or staging area, and hands at the presses turning apples into cider. No experience needed, we'll show you what to do when you arrive.
What you'll take home
You'll leave with a free jug of cider for your trouble, an afternoon with good company, and the knowledge that apples headed for the compost pile turned into something worth sharing instead. Last year, volunteers helped turn 6,000+ pounds of local apples into cider, so that nothing goes to waste and everyone has access to nutritious, locally preserved food year-round.
