In addition to organizing fruit pickings through the harvest season, OFRE engages in projects and events throughout the year. Here is a list of some of hte following events and projects we are working on.

In addition to the above items, we are always looking for keen volunteers to take on the role of Neighborhood Fruit Captain’, help with driving, blogging on our website, finding charitable organizations to donate fruit to, etc.

We have a ton of green apples that need to be picked in the University area. Plums will be ready next!

Sounds great. Please go to our website and fill out the fruit grower form. All fruit growers need to register their tree/fruit with us before we can organize a pickings. Things are going a but slow this season, but hopefully things will pick up soon.
Please note that due to poopular demand, registering your tree does not guarantee your fruit will be picked. We are a small dedicated group of volunteers with more trees than people.
